Our Selection

All countertops from Granite & Marble Design are made to order and painstakingly fabricated right here in our local facility. We proudly install the following types of countertops:

• Granite – This is a quarried stone that has become one of the most popular countertop materials. Capable of lasting practically forever, a granite countertop can easily withstand daily wear and tear and continue to look brand new. However, as granite is porous, it must be sealed on a periodic basic to prevent staining from occurring.
• Marble – This material is generally best suited as a bathroom countertop surface because exposure to substances like wine, oil, and juice can lead to stains that are impossible to get out. That being said, marble countertops are almost indisputably the most beautiful.
• Quartz – Made of crushed quartz, a resin binder, and one or more coloring agents, quartz countertops are engineered stone surfaces that eliminate many of the perceived weaknesses of granite and marble, such as susceptibility to cracking. While some people prefer the natural look of granite or marble, others prefer the slightly more contemporary look of quartz and its inherent forgivability.
